FAQ's
Feel free to get in touch and will be glad to be of service to you.
How long does it take for you to build my website?
Of course that is going to depend on the kind of website that you’re after but generally speaking we normally quote anywhere between 2 and 4 weeks before we have it ready for you to inspect & give us feedback.
Once you've build my website, does it belong to me?
Short answer is YES, absolutely! and you have the copyright to it.
I want a really simple, 1 page website - can you get that found in Google?
Google is looking for a number of things (over 240 things actually) when ranking your website in conjuction with all the other websites that you’re competing with. One of those things, and it’s a VERY important thing, is called ‘relevant content’ so if you only have a small 1 page site with not much ‘relevant content’ on there, you’re probably going to struggle!
What is WordPress?
WordPress is web software that can be described in several ways: as a content management system (CMS), a tool for building websites, and a blogging platform. An estimated one-third of all websites in the world are on WordPress, which is used by everyone from individuals, small business owners, and some of the largest corporations in the world. The software is open source, which means anyone can contribute to the original source code.
Why is a WordPress website best for my small business?
WordPress is popular for several reasons, including its ease of use and that it can be downloaded and installed for free, but it has many more advantages for businesses. It has a simple, intuitive interface which makes updating your site and publishing content easy, but most importantly, it’s best for businesses because it supports the SEO features that help your site rank higher in search engine results. WordPress also lets you take advantage of powerful SEO plug-ins that make optimizing your site even more robust. It includes everything from e-commerce functionality, contact and opt-in forms, simple social media network connections, to multiple types of web pages for creating blogs, portfolios, landing pages, client testimonials and much more. Because its code and structure is clean and simple, it’s easier for search engines to index your content.
Is WordPress secure?
In addition to WordPress security plug-ins that help protect your website, updates to WordPress released promptly when security vulnerabilities arise. Thanks to it being open source, developers around the world are quick to identify security problems. It’s up to website owners, of course, to keep the software up to date.
